Another twist
I have just found that my second ecu the black Bosch one was unplugged is there any reason y this would be
Plus the little Bosch box on fuel metering unit is this adjustable as I removed it to see if there was anything broken and looks like u can adjust by loosening the two screws and twisting it

Don't adjust the little black box, its an electronic fuel pressure regulator and basically adjusts mixture. A small adjustment of the screw is a big adjustment in fuel pressure.
The black ecu controls the black box. The fact that its unplugged might be saying something lol. I would plug it back in and see what happens... if nothing then it may have been unplugged for a reason, so swap it and try again.
With the pressure regulator unplugged the metering unit should be set up to make a warm engine run, obviously a stone cold engine is going to be a pig to get going.
Good luck!
PS, you might be better off just starting one thread rather than lots. They are all covering pretty much the same topic, I find you will get more people answering/helping this way

Also, regardless of whether you make this car work or not.... DO NOT give it any stick, and take it to a tuner for a set up.... Set ups are nice and cheap for these (around Ł100) and will result in a safe car to drive.
