Right this came up for sale cheap so cheap i just couldnt say no to it..

Jamex springs kyb shocks fitted.. Koni adjustable shocks and springs in the boot.. turbo loom, rad, fan, fuel tank and fuel lines in the boot.. 88 spec trim.. RS1600I steering wheel.. few other bits and bobs in there aswell. Complete car minus engine and box.. Looks of surface rust but nothing bad.. Needs some dodgy plates that have been welded in over the years cutting out and doing properly. one rear arch and rear sill sections..























Not 100% sure on the plans yet but gonna be done the same as my MK4 estate. But may get this one blasted first. Def a RS1600I looker not sure on the colour yet.. Poss ST170 engine and box poss on bodies as well..

Yeah will do bud.. Not much gonna happen with it untill the MK4 estate is finished.. But possibly gonna blag my kids into coming out the weekend and strip it for me..

Well my daughters chickened out, but my boy came out the workshop with me for a couple hours this morning and he stripped the interior right out and whipped the doors of with me while i removed the glass headliner and bits in the engine bay and suspension..

All glass out and the window appertures are all solid.. well theres a 5mm hole in the front one but its nowt to worry about.



Floors all pretty good. N/S front has had a new panel just needs tidying up. And the O/S needs a bit chopping out and some fresh metal letting in.



Headliner out without damaging it.



The N/S front floor thats been replaced already.



N/S sill lip needs a bit. And the sill needs some dodgy plates cutting out and fresh let in.



O/S sill lip needs some loving..



O/S front floor that needs some work.











All in all a bloody good couple hours work i think.. And no nasties were found either which is always a bonus..

 

3dr estates are the tits mate love'em and one day will have one or a combi myself !
