Need your help, got a little dilemma......
As some of you may know my Auto gearbox on my laguna decided to book it, packed it and fooked off 
Now what to do? as the repair on the box is £500 + vat
and the cars only worth £800 
but the car is mint inside and out, seems a shame to scrap it

That's just insane.. In denmark the cheapest Laguna is £3300 for a shitter and 8-9000 for a minter. But its lhd. If you like the car, then find a replacement and keep it.

Looks like I'm the only one who's voted for 'repair'. 
Bugger, can I change my mind and go with the flow, as I don't like being on my own......
Seriously, it depends how much the car is worth to you, and how long you intend on keeping it. If you can hang on and get a 2nd hand one with warranty then go for it, as it ain't worth jack with a knackered auto box.
