need a cheap runaround
Been looking at Peugeot 106 diesels as i need something small, cheap tax, cheap insurance and high as possible mpg. Will only have about a grand to spend though so can anyone think of any other cars that fit the criterior? Getting a new car will allow me to save to get my XR4x4 back on the road after nearly 2 years
cheap as chips... ha ha ha ha like it.
Unfortunatly i dont have the money at the moment and was thinking something smaller would be a bit better for me at the moment. plan is have a tiny shitty car for a while and then once the sierra is back on the road i want a mondeo estate. Tell you what tho that mondeo is one lush car!

why waste money on a small car when that is there in excellent condition, low mileage, comfy, lots of space and will take veg no problem
Im sure you could haggle the price a bit with Tiffany too

true that sir. will probably have to leave it a month or so tho as im currently breaking my Puma to fund the new car. ill defo keep my eye on it though! does running veg oil create any problems in the engine? Only that my mate used to have a citroen xm that ran on veg oil and he had inline heaters and a seperate small tank for the diesel to start it up.

Always keep extra fuel filters and change the oil on a regular basis too.
Rover 400 diesel.
Cracking car for what they are. Engine is sweet and will go on forever. Drives so, so well for what it is. So much better than any of the other diesels of its day.
Would never have looked at one until years and years ago I had one as a courtesy car and been raving about them ever since when people have asked for a cheap runabout. This one had done 170k and still felt like new.

First one I found cheap after a quick search on eBay and it happens to be in West Yorkshire and I see you're in Leeds.
