Default wheel fitment

Hi, Ive just bought a set of alloys 2 r 205/40/r17 and 2 r 205/45/r17 just wondering does it matter what ones I put on the front.

What car?? For mot purposes you'd need to have the 40's on the front. If its a 4x4 you'll also want the same rolling radius so would need to change 2 of the tyres so they are all the same

215/45/17 are perfect for focus models using OE alloys like the STs but on aftermarket wheels 205/45s are ideal as I find 40 profile unless the car is dropped on its arse leave too much room around the arch

but for what you have its 45s on the rear
