It's a shame seeing such nice cars being broken but it can't be that everyone's had enough of the money pits as the parts seem to sell very fast! Expensive bits too

the shells live on if not rotten so i wonder how much of a threat it really is to the cars??
sure i can see why the money pits get broke then rebuilt as lightly modified/standard. Especially in this day and age.
Plus there will still be a demand for spares.

that is one reason i keeped the saff and rebuilt the engine keeping it on the road but if i was given Ł4750 i might be tempted to sell as it only need tax!

people spend too much money on them on parts etc...then the car is not worth the money except in bits, its a shame really.

Yep, I'm totally gutted, but for several important reasons, I know I'm doing the right thing
Shame the shells don't seem to be worth anything even when really nice, then people moan there's no nice shells
I'm sure I'll still catch you at the shows Paul

ive nearly sold mine 5 times now in the last 6 years or so but everytime i go to i cant do it. its a pain to own and expensive to fix but when its running well its awesome fun plus everyone commenting on the car when im out tells me not to sell it. im glad people do break them as i cant afford new parts (when there rarely available) and i uprate mine with used parts. plus the more get broken and the rarer they get the more mine is worth!

ive always liked cossies and always will, im 25 and half my mates did not know what a sierra was till i got mine
but i love them to bits, i find people go to mad upgrading these cars to have the highest power ect and then have no choice but to break to get most there money back, what i do like about these are the fact that im insuring mine now on a classic policy at 25 with stage 3 spec ect for just over Ł500
, i pay more to insure my mondeo diesel
