Which block would you use for a 500/600 bhp build and why?

Are either of them any more reliable than the other?

I know the small core blocks can only be six long studded rather than 10, what are the major factors when choosing which one to use.

The 200 block is a copy of the rs500 small core plug block so nothing between them realy

Cheers mate, i've got a small core block that I was going to build up for my escos rally car.
But now thinking its not worth it. Not sure what to do now.
200 blocks are like half the price of small core blocks.......

 

Flog the 500 block and buy a 200 you should have some change too
