Default st170 loss of power

Just nipped out in the car, put me foot down and no power.... revs ok but no go if you know what i mean????

Is the varible valve timing working correctly. Is there any engine lights on. If your car has a airflow meter it could be that whats at fault.I know on some cars when these go faulty they dont bring any engine lights on.

From your description, it sounds very much like you drove a standard ST170 earlier today.
