I will be running 300mm wilwood 4 pots up front and 2wd cossie calipers and discs on the back of my series 2, will I need to use an after market compensator valve?
Cheers
I've got a bias valve wouldn't say its essential but does mean you can play with settings to see what works best!! Well worth what it costs I've got a compbrake one
As said before chaps gonna be over 300hp!
Will try and do some research on what the big power boys are running
irrelivent. fact is with big powerfull stoppers up front your going to get more weight transfer to the front so the back end will go lighter under heavy braking which will mean the drums will find it easier to lock up never mind fitting discs!

If it's stripped out like mine you'll need bias valve just for the drum brakes! My cossie discs lock all the time and it's fooking dangerous even thou i got bias valve shut right down and grooved pads . If it's performance your after you'll just need 1.3 bonus drums. Back won't lock as easy so you can stamp on the pedal

re make all the brake lines get rid of all the shity valves etc , run 1 line to the front and 1 line to the rear and put a bias valve in it and turn the rears rite down or the back will be coming round on u , some times even with drums the back comes round if its a light car
mine is still using the std valves as well as my bias valve and its still too much coz the back wheels can lift off ground when breaking hard coz its stripped out.
i got rst master cylinder, split both lines into two, joined one pipe from each together and through a (under bonnet) bias valve then into the std valves then out to the back brakes, so ive effectively got one joined system instead of the std split diagnal fl + rr and fr + rl braking system

Cheers stuart, is it worth putting the valve inside the car, or put it in the engine bay turn it down and leave it?
