Default Who owns a convertible?

Bought my first soft top a few weeks ago and have had the roof down properly for the first time today.

There's nothing quite like going through a nice set of back roads with the wind in your hair listening to the sound of your engine.

I know some will think it's a bit but I have to expect that I guess.

Anyone else had the roof down yet?

2 years ago we were in Dominican Republic "Luperon" on holiday and we see a Mack truck convertable, not so much a soft top, more of we hit a low bridge with it and cut the roof off so we can still use it.

Have had XR3i cabs, have to admit that they are great fun. You can't appreciate what its like to drive around with the roof off until you've had a cab. So much fun

So why don't you buy a xr3i hard top instead of a cab

Have my ragtop about 4 years, have the top down when ever its not raining that said have been caught in a few showers and havnt bothered to stop As if you stay above @ 20 mph aero keeps the rain out.

Goin to France in June with it for the first time ,lookin forward to that .
Bought it originally as they stopped sellin 97 Ron in Ireland so parked up the cossies. Wanted a bit of poke, low ish road tax and rwd , suited the bill

I also have a MX-5 and to be honest, it's a pretty nice sensation to drive without that feeling of being inside a "box".

But, I'm in Portugal and we only got 60 days of rain a Year (according to statistics) and it's almost always sunny... Even these last days! (it's 25ş here now)

When it's colder i just wind up the windows and turn the heating on! It's a great trick

P.S. Don't get me started with MX-5 is a barbie car! I hear enough from my friends already!

nah man! I LOVE having the roof down in the dark and cold! blasting down some lanes in the dark in winter is awesome

Just like the thrill and feeling of being in cars with no roofs.

I've got 4 cars with no roofs at the moment. I had 6 at the same time once!
