hi ive got a mondeo tdci 130bhp on a 03 plate and when im driving it around 50mph it goes in to limp mode and the coil light flashes but i turn it off and back on and its fine untill 50mph again has anyone got any ideas. thanks.

i have and it says a malfunction injector

 

Mate I fixed this very problem today on the bosses one. His is a 53 plate tdi and after testing the injectors it was that. ,408 quid plus the vat for the set but it run like a new car after fitting them and they are easy to change.

The place he got the injectors from did it for him. His car was doin what yours is doin ! Spooky seeing you post this after the boss coming to work with this same problem this morning.

although u found the injectors were shot i reckon they have gone due to the fuel pump breaking up and clogging them up.by turning the car off it releases the pressure and hence unblocks the injector nozzles
