ST24 for XR3i/XR4x4i
Hi guys. I have a 2000 mondeo ST24 in silver. Spent a fortune on the car in the past few months. Ive serviced the car with engine oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter and spark plugs. Brand new genuine ford ignition leads (over £100), new metal impeller water pump and thermostat, coolant and gearbox oil. I've also had a two new front calipers and brake pads fitted as well as o/s front wheel bearing two new front tyres and brand new brake master cylinder. Car pulls like a train as imrc works correctly. I've only run the car on shell vpower and had it washed every weekend without fail
Bad bits
The central locking and heated seats haven't worked since I've owned the car
There is a small patch of rust on the o/s rear quarter above the bumper and there are a couple of marks here and there as expected on a car of this age

I'm looking for a fairly tidy mk4 escort xr3i or sierra xr4x4 with tax and test
Dave

Don't do it.That looks like a cracker of an ST you have there, why swap it for a shonky old Escort?
I had an ST24 and an XR3i at the same time a few years ago, don't think i could have handled the 3i as a daily after having the ST.
Up to you at the end of the day though. Why not have a look for a cheap project 3i?
