Hello can anyone tell me what clutch they are using in there zetec engine as my release bearing is on way out an want to put new clutch in i need something that will be good for 300+bhp any idea cheers

An that will handle 300+bhp as ill be looking at running about 350/360bhp im hoping

 

I've too got a Helex 4 paddle clutch.

 

Whats the helix paddle like?
Juddery?
Also is the clutch pedal mod nessacery?

 

The clutch pedal is not that hard and not that juddery, when I move off I would have to give it about 1500rpm for it not to judder the only thing I don't like is when I reverse and try and let the clutch out it makes a screechy sound and when I release the clutch pedal in 2nd and 3rd gear a slight noice comes from it, I don't think there's much I can do about it but the main thing is the clutch doesn't slip at any gear and any revs it is quite an aggresive fast moving clutch. Forgot to mention the mk5 clutch mod (metal one) was needed as my old one slipped off.

 

What's the clutch mod then?
