newman cam nocking when cold?

Default newman cam nocking when cold?

my friends got a newman cam but it starts to get noisy when cold untill oil gets to the head afer about 5 mins, his this normal for a sollid lifter ?

it should not take 5 minutes for oil to get to the head lol! whats the oil pressure?

no idea, hes not got a gauge, its a zvh its a rebuilt bottom end, how long it usally take for a cvh to get oil to the top end ?

it should get oil to the top end while cranking so pretty instantley to be honest, you need to get a guage on there and see what the oil pressure is before you do anything

Has he been running it at 0.06 as per your previous post?

no mate i got it wrong, 00.8 is what he said but i must of heard him wrong.

once the oil is at the top it seems to have real good oil pressure has you can see it spraying around through the filler cap hole, he's using 15/40 oil is that ok for a zvh ?
