Default Decent SEAT Related Forums?

Anyone know of any?

I still own a Ford but feel a bit cheeky coming on here continuously asking for help with a non Ford.

Joined up on seatcupra.net, its been going years and the chances of getting a reply on anything are 1 in 20 and i wasnt asking dopey questions either, the search feature is useless and majority of the time you never get an answer on what you want, just a heated 10 page never ending debate on whos right and whos wrong!

I went on there just now as i want to know what oil to put in my 2002 1.8 20 valve turbo cupra, its been stage one remapped as i want to do an oil and filter change this weekend

Some say 10w40 some 5w30, then someone started an argument about magnatec being no good and not designed for VAG petrol turbo engines, then someone recommened castrol EDGE, then someone recommended millers and mobil1.

The only agreement ive got is the castrol website tells me i need castrol edge 5w/30 ?

ARGH

Well if Ford had done a decent turbo petrol car around 2001 - 2005 era for around 2.5 grand id have bought one, only options were a ropey old escort or a 8 grand Focus RS

www.seatcupra.net - for standard models also.

They are all very cliquey though and sometimes impossible to start a discussion so we gave up and bought a BMW

Goto opie oils and "ask the oilman". They will recommend the best oil for your spec. Then go forth and buy same spec elsewhere
