Well car has been for a set up its a 2.1 zvh still on mfi (which is a bit crap) its got a pace chargecooler, (plan to fit a good fm ic soon) kent 32 cam, ported head and usual upgrades running approx 1 bar of boost it made 228 bhp with nealy 240 torque,

Im pritty happy with that will be fitting a new cam soon when i decide which one go for

What do you people think about the power?

Collecting car tomorrow as hes fiddling with the water injection at the min

 

im running a sitech racing built 2.0zvh, newman cam ,stage 2 big valve head, forged rods and pistons. simon recommended fitting a 5th injector kit to get the right fuelling a lot of people say there crap but ive never had any issues with mine they just need set up properly ,might go to efi one day but right now im looking for a new shell as the arse is rotted out of mine fkn old fords,lol

 

what turbo you running ive got a t34 on mine and was told the engine could make 300bhp without being to stressed even with the 5th inj and mfi but couldnt get it boosing properly on the r/r due to a weak actuator think we got approx 240bhp @11/12 psi

 

for what its worth ive read from some clued up types on here the 5th injector is about the best thing you can do with mfi.

 

Im running a stage 3 t3, tuner said its running well and would make a good bit more power with after market management, i should be getting a full efi kit in a wk or 2, but would like fit it with a ecu from boost monkeys at the same time,

Also need decide what spec cam to buy

will they map a megasquirt based ecu?

 

Not sure aint asked what he recomends, but from what iv read the one from boost monkeys seems good value for money, but will ask few people on here for comments first

 

Only reason I ask is I might need mine mapping,I'm awaiting a confirmation from somebody but if not need to look at all options, cheshire aint too far from me.

 

I no he works with omex if i remember i will ask him about magasquirt when i pick my car up

 

He does work with Omex as you said ,he can supply all thats needed as i was going go that route but decided sell my RS turbo.He did say he can also supply and fit megasquirt to which is alot cheaper if i remember rightly.

Car is back home, water injection all sorted, and feals quite quick, just a liitle smokey on over run and tick over not too bad tho, get it on efi next should be picking everything up in 2 weeks time

Just need decide on what cam to fit
