Hi
today i took the head off my brothers s2rst, to do the oil stem seals because it was smoking when started from cold. when the head was off i filled the bores with paraffin to check if oil was leaking past the rings which it was, so off came the sump and out came the pistons. the big end bearings and crankshaft are scored, removed mains and there just as bad.
so im going to have to get the crank ground its on std at the moment on all bearings what size bearings would i need?
Also ive measured the rings and they seem to be approx 79.93mm is this std size?
Do the bearings and rings have to be for a turbo or will say xr2 bits be ok?
