Hey just bought an escort rst s2 and want to start modding...what front mount inter cooler would u recommend??

Ok cool it seems like grs is the way forward then....let me do my research and il get back to you mate...and while were on the topic of modding,any recommendations on what cam would be suitable for everyday road use??.. Cheers for the feedback

std cam is hard to beat. i recently asked some questions re cam capabilites. good enough for up to 250hp i beleive.

most seem to go with grs but twins says his is cooler with new rs500 cooler airtec do than his grs he had

What was you trying to say project lol..

I currently use the evo 5 grs front mount and can't fault it apart from you will experience more lag but with harder punch once on boost
. The front mount rs500 that airtec do is tempting but I'd prefers a grs with same design and I would expect better flow than airtec but you would need plenty of cash. Sorted is the cheaper option that I see most people go for.

Airtec is a cracking bit of kit for the money and hard to beat but is very heavy. GRS or Pace (not double capacity) are pretty on par with each other in my experience

great...ok ive got a good idea of what makes to look out for..one more question.im not to good at mechanics so the chances of me bein able to do a rebuild on my rst are slim...any suggestions on good companys that rebuild these engines???

Another +1 for Jano. Never had work done by him personally but have dealt with a couple of cars he's worked on and met him at a couple of shoot outs and been impressed with him and the work he turns out

Unlike many people he actually has an interest in the cars and what he's doing not just blowing smoke up your backside to sell you stuff
