Default Which Ka engine, 60 or 70bhp?

My GF is looking to get a Ka. I've been looking them up and it seems there are two engines available: one with 60hp, the other with 70 (also does a few more mpg).

Is there anything to know about these? Or is the obvious choice the right one?

Also, how can you tell them apart? The for sale adverts I've seen don't have very good pictures of engine bays.

Cheers

up to 53 is the 60hp OHV Endura (exhaust on the front, inlet on the back), 53 onwards is the 70hp Duratec (inlet at front, exhaust at rear) it's a better and quieter engine

Thanks for the reply, I didn't realise it was an age thing. She's ended up getting a Yaris, turns out they have pretty cool little engines. 1.0 16v with vvt, makes 70bhp!
