My radio/cd alarm clock has developed a wee fault. After 2 minutes of coming on, the volume drops to almost nothing.

If I turn the volume up it is fine and all is well, but I worry that I might nod off again because it is so quite.

And if I get up and increase the volume but forget to turn it down before switching off I get blasted awake the following morning.

Any ideas what could cause this?


Don't really want to replace it because I like this one.
