ok lads update for ya ,

been cracking away at the gargae in the spare hrs ive had ,

got to thank our kid ( frank the tank ) for his help

anyway some pics

got a cpl coats on the main walls , and then two ground coats on the floor

still hard to see the size

started on the top floor

how it looked ,

started joisting out the rear end , this will be primarily to add a ceiling to the unit , opposed to store materials in this end ( will become clear )

was on a job that was ending last week , managed to blag a few sheets of ply , floor boarding and 3x2 s ect ,

started sheeting out then

the rain had got to a few of them , making them swell a little , so the tounge n groove joints aint perfect , but hey its a fucking garage lol

with that done turned attention to the main area

boards were removed , and some monaflex sheeting laid down

its a internally ribbed plastic sheet used in scaffolding application , so got bro to get me some from work lol

boards were laid on top

gap in the middle will have a floorboard sheet put down

a good space , can stand up in the peak

and the sky lights do a tidy job of lighting the area

as the monafles is sealed it also means theres no risk of dust and shite falling down thru boards onto car ....and being white plastic, a clean bright surface for the celing rather than having to paint scaff boards

front edge will be tidyed up

how shes looking from the ground

put tank bk to work on the painting

just needs a good heavy final coat on the walls , and finish coat on the floor ,

got some kitchen cabinets on there way , poss some worktop , and some gear there for to build some shelving with ,

should have that knocked out midweek , then everything moved over at the end of next week ,

just need daz to find some time to come do the wiring now !!!!

beef

Coming along really well there.

That frank is a fecking big lad, for god's sake dont offer to buy him a meal for helping out, you'll have to sell the car to fund it.
