My old man wants some alloys for his 05 Galaxy, the steelys on it are 195 60 16 and are 5x112.

What is the width of the steel rim?

I thought it could be perhaps worked out from the trye size?

195mm into inches is over 7.5! I know that is not right, had one off to look for markings on the back but nothing significant to me

I need to know the width of the steel rim to know what alloys to get him as he wants something a little wider, for whatever reason.

Off the top of my head they are 6", not positive but its going to be fairly close.

 

Thanks, so if some alloys had 205 tyres on would that make the width of the rim 6.5 perhaps?
