Anyone whos knows about Granada Scorpios?

a friend bought a scorpio for cheap but on the vehicle check that he did it says Ford Granada Scorpia I A, whats the I A stand for then or is it nothing?

Impossible Automatic
you can never EVER under any circumstances change it to an automatic!

It's just the chassis/model designation.

Like E34, W123, B5 etc
