Hi my names Dave and im a blue oval addict :S
Hi Guys,
My names Dave and i like my Fords
My brother is currently running a MK1 Ford Focus 2.0l ESP which i had a while back and loved it...so decided to get another ford, but i have a boy now and plan on having more kids but didnt want an mpv so i went for a MK3 Ford Mondeo 2.0l TDCI
I bought it cheap but its a previous Cat C (rear end shunt) the work is ok but they havent pulled the metal round the boot back so when the boot is shut there is a 2" gap between the boot and chassis along the passenger side. Not to hard to fix and ill do it when the some comes.
Anyway here she is:

Its also running a bit rough on idle but i got an OBDII lead and some software now so ill plug it in over the weekend and see what it throws up.
This is what its doing. Ive already removed and cleaner the egr and run some bg244 through her (im fairly sure its not the DMF and something more simple as its just on idle)

I think its either a ecu update that was never done (service bulliten from 2006) or its been run on rubish fuel and could need an injector recode.
Anyway got a few plans for this:
Remove side strips on door
get a spoiler (it had one fitted but was never replaced after accident)
get it a engine cover (go knows where ours went)
DMB badges for front, rear, steering wheel, keys and engine cover.
Fix boot and re spray inside boot edging
repair and respray the bottom of the doors
colour coded handles
spray the alloys, unsure what colour maybe dark grey?
also want to get some more ponies out of it so a remap or chip at some point but im unsure what else i can do to gain power as im not that used to diesels.
Thanks
Dave
