I was wondering if anyone can help me trace the year of manufacture from my vin number, i have just finished of a mk1 escort cosworth and need to tax it this week, it is now mot'd and as it is registered in nov 1973 i am hoping to find it was manufactured possibly pre 73 so i can have it taxed exempt,

Is there a website that i can put the vin number into to find out ?
