was thinking about trying it this year, currently running between 300-370 bhp, no information on gearbox so assume standard, what can be expected time wise, i ve never launched the car so unsure about gearbox, is it worth trying, what precautions etc would you advice thanks

Bounce up and down to 4k and lift off when ready. Various ways of doing it, just try it out. But practicing on normal road ready for Santa Pod is pretty uselss as its just not the same kinda surface.

 

hold at 4k dump clutch keep the power on you will enjoy allthough due to the extra grip available at pod you may bog down a couple of times first, but practice makes perfect

We shall see need a few tweaks on the car before I risk another box at Pod.

 

Never launched it? Man up and give it some death! Thats what ford made them for

 

Recline and drop the clutch only really works on the road at pod it will bye bye box

At pod I found about 4-5k and slip the clutch to get moving the dump it

It's best to get it moving slightly then drop the clutch, but just go up there and practice mate because everyone is different
