rear ambers on 4x4 saphhire

Has anyone done this properly
As in removing the black number plate surround
And is there holes to be filled afterwards?
A friends looking to do it but doesnt want to have to paint the car

iam doing it put i will be painting the car.only way round it would be rubber comits?would'nt look the best

If only Ford had attached the panel with just the no plate screws!?

I have just done this last week !
Welding the four holes up and paint is the only way to sort properly

Cost me a few quid too sort , but looks stunning

Thats what I thought
4 fixings
Best of it is when we were daft back in the day and fitting smoked back lights over the ambers the plate bit could be attached just by the reg plate screws
