hi all been awhile since i posted up on here. finally got my self a mk2 orion
i bought it has a rolling shell with a few rst goodies on, the front end had been polybushed along witha rst front arb, rst bonnent and fuel pump, also came with 16e leather interior but that now needs retrimming if anyone knows a place that wont cost the earth.
only bad part of the car was the battery tray every where else was solid rear arches have a little rust but nothing that makes them rottern.

the plans for now was sort the rust give it a quick blow over and chuck a zetec init, untill next year im goin strip it back to bare metal and rebuild it.

started of by replacing the rusty battery tray which was making the car like a swimming pool

nice fresh cut hole with new battery tray trail fitted i dont have any finished pictures thou


i managed to fund rst brakes front and back with hubs and drive shafts of ebay so they will be fitted soon, ive also bought a rs2k engine but unfornatly this is now goin has i cant find the correct loom for it and i could spend all year looking fot it.
this is how far ive got with it as ive spent most of the time searching for parts and bar a few little bits ive nearly found all of them so hopefully next month of so there shud be a big change in the car.
