Greatest Rally Car ??
what in your opinion is the greatest rally car of all time?? we've had some awsome machines in over the years but what would you pick as best???
its hard to pick one but i think the Delta S4 clinches it imho

Got to be the Mk2 Escort. Still competing today! Audi UR Quattro too.

No, Rally cars got to a stage where everything had to be calmed down but then still....
Is it the cars/drivers fault if spectators are injured.
Bit like standing on a train track and not expecting a train.
The health and safety now in comparison to back then is miles apart.

The RS200 in Portugal was spectators getting in the way, plus the Toivenen crash in Corsica, kinda stopped gr.b before it started....

The Subaru Imprezza and the Lancia Delta are the most successful rally cars of all time, with both cars having 46 wins in total. One more for the Imprezza and it will be the most successful rally car model of all time.

Not really got into wrc in the last few years.
Funny how, years ago, the Lombard RAC, as it was then, was so much better with things like night stages, and lasting longer than a couple of days... And prime time coverage on BBC2!?

Not a massive Audi fan, but big respect to the technology at the time and dare I say, almost better sounding than a mk1 or 2 barking seats at full chat!
