i have a set of lowering springs i took off an xr4i years ago and they are parallel springs but my car has shocks that take pigtail ones.
now i'm after some koni's for it to match the rear but don't want to end up with shockers that need pigtail springs.
First question is, do 2wd koni shocks fit in xr4i hubs?
second question is, how do i make sure the shocks i buy are for parallel springs?
cheers for any help Matthew

All the 2wd cars shared the same strut size so that's not the problem
The issue is the spring rates and the springs themselves
You need to get springs for the weight of the 4i not the spring rate based on the weight of the cossie

I can't remember the details of the XR4i stuff because my suspension is all 4x4.
Most spring makers specify whether the springs are parallel or pigtail and, for used stuff, you can ask the seller if the coils are all the same size or if they taper at the end.
