Just had my car re painted and need to get some rivets to put the side skirts back what ones do people use as the the ones that came off had a plastic coating on them but seem to find any with this coating?

Exactly as said above, I got them from Ford but expensive, they have a black plastic head, where as my originals were painted.
You could get the rivets elsewhere MUCH cheaper, just get ones with the same size heads.

I bought some direct from my local Ford dealer in the past.
Dont' bother with my local dealer any more as these guys are really helpfull, give a discount and post the parts to you saving time and aggro

I used 5 mm black plastic Scrivets with the centre screws replaced with 3 mm stainless self tappers. These are easy to remove if you need to and unlike aluminium pop rivets, will not cause dissimilar metal corrosion between the aluminium and steel. I used them on the fitting strips as well as the skirts themselves. They are also dirt cheap.

Last question for you guys, on the front section that attaches to the wing theres 2 rivets that hold the leading edge. but what way does it secure to the face of the wing? it looks like it slides down on to a clip of some type?
