Anyone?

My engine builder has dropped my comp ratio to suit road use to 11:51

45's mate. Always choke them down. Loose a bit of mid range but will be singing up top. My bro's 1600 is on 45's awesome tool.

I would certainly use a pair of 45's

If the cylinder head work was done correctly you should see around 170 hp
from the 1600 cvh.
A 35mm choke size should be near perfect.
35mm choke size is great in a 45mm weber.

Cheers guys, I will get on the case, it's built already so Gunna use my 40s to run it in the go 45s

So will it really make 170bhp with the comp at only around 11.51?

I was looking for a solid 150+bhp

The engine builder said I'm better with a lower comp for road

The engine used to be 13:51 ratio and he said it's way to high for road use

Also what gearbox to fit in a mk3 would give the best ratios to keep it singing
