As title what's the limit of these carbs on a hot cvh
Wanted to spend and get throttle bodies but really thinking about getting a 400 conversion done on my mk2 frs
Spec on the cvh is
1600 cvh
Big valve cvh with 45mm inlets
Fully ported and flowed to match
Newman phase 4 4000/8000
Solid lifters
Double valve springs
Newman pulley
Rs turbo crank
Rs turbo genuine oil pump
Baffled sump
Bez tec dizzy
Arps
Fully lightened and balanced
Burton steel rods
Accrulite forged high comp pistons
Big valve cut outs
Skimmed head
Decked block
Steel flywheel
Janspeed 4-2-1 and system
And what pump and filter will I need to sort the fueling

I would certainly use a pair of 45's
If the cylinder head work was done correctly you should see around 170 hp
from the 1600 cvh.
A 35mm choke size should be near perfect.
35mm choke size is great in a 45mm weber.

Cheers guys, I will get on the case, it's built already so Gunna use my 40s to run it in the go 45s
So will it really make 170bhp with the comp at only around 11.51?
I was looking for a solid 150+bhp

The engine builder said I'm better with a lower comp for road
The engine used to be 13:51 ratio and he said it's way to high for road use
Also what gearbox to fit in a mk3 would give the best ratios to keep it singing
