Default Thinking Of Buying A XR2, Need Some Advice

Hey, Thought I would be best of asking on here so here are my questions.

I am considering buying myself a XR2 and a guy I know locally has one up for sale and I really could do with some help on figuring out what is there and it it is worth me trying to buy.

So here are the details about the car, I will try and keep it straight to the point!

1987 XR2 - no MOT - No tax - Full V5 and plates.
Shell is in a fair state with no worrying areas of rust.
Shell is fully stitch welded and all unused holes have been welded up
Engine is a blueprinted 1660 with high comp pistons, high lift cam, pulley, 4 branch manifold, enlarged webber carb, K&n filter. 5 speed RS turbo gearbox with plate type limited slip diff fitted & Uprated clutch.
Perspex windows all round
Full rollcage with doorbars/bracing etc
OMP wraparound bucket seat (1) with adjustable base mount
Ignition/fuel pump on a switch and starter button
All lines run inside the car
Car inside is completely stripped
Quickshift
OMP strut brace
Dished wheel
Facet fuel pump setup
Spax dampers and springs all round
Braided brake lines all round, with greenstuff pads and uprated discs
Braided hoses
wheels fitted with slicks front and rear

The car starts, runs, drives and stops but does require a harness and a rear exhaust section. I have priced a Ashley manifold back exhaust at £150 and i can take the passenger harness out of my other track car.

Now ideally I would like to get get mot on this and take it out on some track days but being able to drive there and back would be a lot more convenient.

Going on the above spec, how much would be a reasonable price to pay for a car with this spec? It is some thing which I am seriously interested in but only really at the right price.

Ideally I want something I can MOT and run over to the ring!

Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Just to underline I am NOT trying to gauge a price for a vehicle I am trying to sell nor am I trying to advertise. This is something I am interested in and have no idea if i will be paying to much.
