Hi all

I have read somewhere on a thread but cant find it again that its worth using 1.8 cams for a 2.0l zetec turbo build with uprated springs, This with a standard silver top head should see 300 to 320 bhp. Is this correct?

Also should that be both 1.8 cams or just the inlet?

1.8 cams are ment to be alittle better, but 2.0 cams are good to above 340+bhp, rollinz has used both cams for over 500bhp, but for around 300-350 either will be fine,

 

Would it not be easier to acheive bigger power with 1.8 cams if you were aiming for between 300 and 350? Or would it make no difference at that scale?
