Remember driver a 1.6 pinto saph with no pass, had coast rear beam and front sus and it was a right cunt lol.

To heavy IMO for it to be a good move.

Mayb put a restrictor in the pipe to lower pressure ?

I had a leaking pas rack on my cossie last year and i took the pas belts off and drove the car with no pas for weeks till i got a new rack.

It was bloody hard work to drive.

A ps rack without the ps is not the same as a non ps rack!

I had a PAS o-ring fail on me a good few years ago I was only 10 miles from home but it was seriously hard work, I wouldn't have wanted to do a 3 point turn in it.

my 4i dont have the power steering and its a heavy old bus without it. i had a pipe go on a xr4x4 back in the days when beer and partying was more imortant than car maintenance. got used to it after a month or so, but felt amazing when i fixed it.
dont do it.
