Default Staggered tyre size saff 4x4

Got 215/40/17 to replace my 205/40/17s , fit fine on rear but very very close to front spring cup, konis.just wondering if a bump or flex would move tyre enough to collect strut, might measure tommorow, super t rims 7x17 I think.
Presume the offset is slightly inset, always looked like arch not filled, should be 8" I know....

Spacers an option ????
