Default plastic welders under £100

there a few on ebay but not sure wot they like? anyone recomend any or had experience with them? cheers

would have to get some practice first, my mondeo had been written off and im on fixing it but most bumpers are cracked so fancy having a go meself

My wife bumped her Galaxy and the rear bumper has a 2" crack. I didn't want to buy a plastic weldling kit for the little crack.

depends on the kinda plastic it is ,as if its thermasetting plastic you can welded it back to gether with a soldering iron ,

We plastic weld bumpers etc with soldering iron as above..... it thermosetting plastic that cannot be welded iirc. Mondeo's have thermosetting bumpers if from the top of my head and cant be welded that way.

Is there a way to identify them before taking a heat source to the bumper.

there is usually a code inside the bumper saying abs or pp or teo or summit like that?? then u need a plastic welding rod of the same plastic as well so i am led to believe?
