hi i just brought a mk6 escort cab at the weekend and the Power Roof Isnt Working
Put The Key In To The Right Postion And Nothing No Motor Noise Or Anything
So Took The Motor Off And Connected It To a power Source And The Motor Spins
not sure what it could be stopping it from workin any help would be great?

 

Have you checked the fuse or fuses? Have you got a multimeter or electrical tester to see if there is power at the plug that goes to the switch and power at the plug which connects to the motor? Could be either blown fuse, dodgy switch , or dodgy connector.
