did anyone spot this one coming up for auction last year

They go for that sort of money when they are good but that one is not.

Faults..

Cd player
Speakers cut into the door cards
Wiring hanging out under the stering colum
No bulkhead sound pad
No battery cover
Never seen the coil mounted there before
Lowered at the rear
Painted wheel centres

and god knows what else, probably a mint shell though, but it would be better paying that for an unmolsted one. You get them like that for £8000

a mate of mine who worked for a large used car dealership (they had a large fleet of yellow transporters), bought a 3/4 year old black T reg one that came in, something to do with a pop band at the time or that was the story, i thought his was very nice, had the canvas sun roof too, i just wished i could of afford it when he sold it

 

I think i'd pay 11k not to own a slanty front mk2.
I love mk2's, but the droop snoop doesn't float my boat at all.

 

Have to agree with that. The RS2000 nose just doesnt do it for me either.

 

I like all of the mk2s.
