Just to say i am a very proud owner of a 350bhp nms bottom end, ive brought it off 'Linsay' some of you will know her from having a mercury escort, plus there isnt many females driving them..

Hope to be running 300bhp+ shortly and take it round some tracks this year.

Im ruuning an NMS engine in my Cosworth and couldnt be happier with it,Make sure you get it mapped by Karl and you wont go wrong

Also been in Tim Butchers old RST that was running a mega spec NMS engine,And fook me i didnt half poop myself

I know the engine, I went with her to pick up the donor engine which was built by power engineering. Then she had it rebuilt by NMS for big power - it's a good one - it'll go well. She is local to me, but not seen that Escort for years, has it gone?

NMS live mapped my Sapph and its by far the best money spent

They're currently rebuilding and mapping my 3dr engine, I should get it back next week with around 500 bhp, I can't wait!

Its cosworth mahle pistons, steel rods shot peened with arp big end bolts, think its oversized to .75 on a reground crank and shells etc, newmans phase 4 cam, solids, single valve springs. Omex 600 which ill get karl to put anti-lag/launch control on when ive run it in. T34 and havnt decided on injectors yet but i think im going for focus rs ones (if anyone has some forsale let me know!!) just sent my head up to be worked on, costing me a bomb but ive gone for 300bhp until i save for a new gearbox etc and other uprated parts, then ill take it to 350bhp and probs sit there for a while..

Its not the engine out of linsay's car, its a different engine that she got nms to make her but she didnt fit it due to loosing interest so it sat around, got it for a bargin price so i had to have it, ill have the engine by the end of march ready to go round tracks in the summer and have some fun!

Don't think the car ever saw light of day again, Rob the lad who I brought it off says she list interest before the final build was complete! Kinda suites me nicely I'm currently chasing the cosworth management and loom hopefully secured a deal with that now too!! Gutted I missed that back I was only a month it two out!! I'd just brought another quad so I'm pushing it to the max at the mo!! hopefully get it running some decent HP soon too

 

That would be my old Bottom end then out of my old ERST. Christ time goes by, but glad to see it's still getting used though!
