A mate had a 3.0 n/a Supra on a 1994 (mk4) and has a problem with it starting, it doesnt seem to be firing, just turning over and thats it!! Distributor and rota arm have been changed, ignition coil has been changed, all fuses etc are ok. Doesnt seem to be sparking or even attempting to spark!
Any ideas?!! He hasnt changed the leads but all 6 dont seem to be working so doubt its that!!
Cheers

possibly the cps or a wire going to that could be to blame, spent ages on a vr6 checking fuel, spark etc, cps wire was damaged.
worth a look, are the injectors "ticking" when cranking? should be able to feel them.

Kam, apparantly the ECu was checked and appeared to be ok (not sure who by).
xr2wishy - injectors are ticking and fuel is coming out of them, he's going to check the CPS sensor, whereabouts would he be looking for it (i've never worked on a toyota engine before!)
