Can this CV joint be saved do you think?

Basically removed it cause the ABS Sensor teeth were worn down (confusing the sensor) due to the Hub centre nut not being done up enough and thus, the CV Joint moving about in the hub rubbing the teeth down.
Do you reckon judging from the photo it could be saved, i.e. getting a thin file in between and opening the gaps again. No biggy if it cant be saved, but just thoguht I'd ask before weighing it in along with my old front springs.
