Default uneven afr

I have stage 3 4wd and the afr is not consistant. I can set it at idle then drive it for a while and the afr reads much richer so I weaken it off and drive it again and it reads too weak.whats going on could it be the cold weather like -10C then changing to +2C being that there is more oxygen in colder air

Hi ,

I had an L8 was always on the high side ( better for the turbo then to lean ) .

Was your basic rpm the same when checked ?

Colour from your spark plugs are also important there I think a lot of these aftermarket gauges are not good calibrated there my spark plugs were showing slightly brown what should be OK.

Afterwards I installed close loop from MSD and the needle was dancing all the time trying to adjust
