central locking relay 3dr position / + or - steered ?
Good evening ,
on my 3dr I want to build in remote control locking but hear the relay ticking but cannot find it .
Would you guys be able to help me to locate it ?
For the central locking is the sierra postive or negative steered ?

Not 100% sure on the MK1 but certainly the MK2 is negative switched, sure the Mk1 will be as well, they do differ though.
The MK1 uses solenoids and can only be operated from the drivers door, it also has a central locking module along with actuators etc.
I believe there is some work re the actuators when alarm/remote cl is fitted to these.

Thanks for the help already does anybody have a wiring diagram for the central locking for the 3dr.
There I got like 3 wires going to the solenoid/ actuator and 2 more to the lock/ latch itself.
My saphire was different it had also wires to the lock cilinder ? So I got this diagram but it is no were nere accurate to use on the 3 dr I assume.

As I say the two are different, MK2 uses motors instead of solenoids, I know there are diagrams on here have you done a search?
Haynes do show a diagram for the MK1, but most likely for a 5 door, but you should be able to figure out from this the 3 door setup, as it's just 2 locks less in theory?
