Default Why Siemens injectors over bosh?

As title really, why are Siemens 55's better then bosh 403's or is it just cause the Siemens are cheaper???
Cheers

I thought there would have been more benefits with siemens rather than just price?

They're meant to have a better spray pattern aren't they?

403s are greys though

Direct comparison from 55lbs to 403s, 403 - horrible idle until closed loop was fitted, 55lbs brilliant idle even without closed loop - both on MSD chips.

exactly better spray pattern and when your using a big injector an having to close the duration more at idle they handle it properly plus the injector responce is better under load so fuel is better managed

I've heard the new Bosch 750cc and 1000cc injectors are better than the Siemens range...

My guessing is its not mapped properly then.

I have 83lb siemens no closed loop and its perfect.

I think you have misread the above , because he is saying he never had closed loop with Bosch and it's idle was not great but using siemens still without closed loop and it was better

Better...most of the modern 1000cc and bigger stuff now are Bosch variants.

I think they also do some around 800cc as well now
