computer download speed how to check

Hi Guys
Could you advise me of the best site or way to check the download speed onto my pc?
Also if your hard drive is nearly full will this affect the speed also

And don't use it over a wireless network - plug a cable in to test.

When you say low - how low? Has it been popping up and telling you it's low? That will never help lol.

Tried it with my wireless 0.48mbps
havnt got a clue what that means im crap on computers
