Since when can you LAUNCH a car on a rollers?! (VID)
Pictures, video & Photoshop ForumIf you want to show off your photoshop skills, share pics and videos of your car or other cars you've found, here's the place to go.
Dont think it was a power run, if i remember right their rollers are some special ones that are VERY good at simulating road conditions so you can practice drag launches etc on them
Dont ask me how it works etc cause i aint got a clue, I jus remember Gary@GT-ART explaining how they work (dont remember what he said tho) n saying they could do drag runs on them, god knows, but it looks fuckin cool
I was hoping this wouldnt get moved into the pic n vid forum as id hope someone would know about that type of RR (you CANT drive like that on normal ones!) but there no chance of that now as nobody usually looks in here...
All i know about the RR is this...
GT ART's Dyno has the following features
0-60
Top Speed 225MPH
1/4 Mile
Road Load Simulation
Standing Start
0-200 Meters
0-400 Meters
Constant Speed
Constant Load
Power Curves
4X Goverment Emission Tests - Recognised
Capacity of 1,200HP in AWD mode and 1,000HP in 2WD mode.
So basicly its the bollocks.
Ive no idea how the car stays on the rollers even when launching like that tho, they must have some amazing straps...
