Hi chaps, notched you open the door on a saff, some have the black ford logo'd strip on the inside, does anyone know what I mean?

Anyways, my car didn't come with any, would a 88 2wd saff have had these??

Mine hasnt got them either and mines an 1988 2wd. Not sure if you can still get them from ford.

 

I wasn't sure if it should have the, you see, I've had the car fully re painted and can get some if they should be on there!

 

Where can you get them from and how much?

 

They are adhesive-backed foils.

The fronts are:
left - 6722691
right - 6722690

Rears are 6190535 and are the same on both sides.

Should all still be available from Ford.

A friend of mine was building a saff to standard mint condition but has given up and has a set
I'll see what price each are and availability for anyone needing a set

I bought some of them off evay when i got my saff resprayed. I defo didint pay that price for them.

i,m sure they usually go for around about Ł200

Me too. The ebay ones sold for Ł175

Id rather put my sack in a blender than pay Ł175 for 4 pieces of plastic.

 

someone needs to start making these - some profit there for a bit of vinyl stickers lol

 

Back sill strip are still availible, but not the fronts.

Early 4x4 doesn't have Ford logos on the fronts, facelifts cars do.

Looking at getting them remade locally, i'll let you guys know how it goes.

"Rears are 6190535 and are the same on both sides." Is the passenger rear and drivers rear have different codes as they are opposite hands?
