Hi Folks, im currently bidding on a Ka Luxury on eblag for the wife *cough cough* lol, looking forward to tinkering about with it myself though, its currently a 1.3 luxury with the leather interior and all the bells and whistles. just wondering if anybody has any advice on whats the best route to take when moding these, ie. do fiesta suspension and rear disc brakes fit without to much grafting on ? is there anywhere that does good replica sport ka bumpers ? think the engine will be staying pretty much standard for the time being, altho i do feel a puma or a zetec conversation coming on haha

hay brian, got a sport ka rep myself. you can get alot for the ka from turbo kits to big wheels.

mine has
sport ka bumpers (bumpers can only be got from ford or second hand)(€1500)
escort cosworth wheels
and other bits.

the fiesta suspension might fit on the front ive been told it would shocks straight into the hubs.
lowering kits and eibach shocks are a good set up as its not too solid.
if your going coilovers its gota be avo's all the ka championship rally lads use them.

look over the kaklub theres so much on there that people do to make them better.

 

yeah im loving the way yours is looking, sport ka bumpers are defo the way im wanting to go, makes them look like a baby focus, escos wheels look mint on yours, il probably go for the mondeo 5 spoke wheels to try and capture that look whilst the 1.3 is in it, once i know shes happy with it then il be looking to graft another lump in there to drive a set of escos wheels.

im seeing a lot of fiesta rst conversion talk that im liking lol
