Default Xr2i running prob

Right basically need 2 get the fkcing thing working as im supposed 2 be at mclaren this week again and couldnt get there today!!!

Long story shot basically it wont run properly, a lil while back it cut out and wouldnt run then fixed itself. the last week or so it was a bit jumpy when cold but fine when warm, but last night on my way up the m23 it played up and had 2 come home.

Basically now it has problems ticking over, then will run ok untill you try to drive it and coughs and splutters and dies. I changed the fuel filter as i was told if this was clogged could be starving fuel so done it and its still the same, what else could it be?! Seems to be sparking but just gonna go out and double check each plug has sparks. The plugs are all dry so its not getting flooded or anything. Oh and its a 1.6 8v!!!

Cheers for any help, fookin things been fine up until now sods law

Cheers for the help

Right when its left for a bit then cranked it wont turn over at all till its been cranked a few times then starts splutters and dies a and keeps doin it unless u rev it but again just splutters, could it be the fuel pump thats fucked and not getting enough fuel in?! obviously when its cranked a few times some will get thru and prob enuff to turn over but not run properly?!
